I stepped back in my little crafty studio and brought some things to life. I love my little pile of fabrics--not big but special little bits, or re-purposed from old clothes. My Flickr shows some of my fabric cuffs I've made and these handmade fabric flower poseys. They are substantial, approximately 6 inches in diameter, and sewn by hand with a tad of glue to set them. I am thinking that I can add a backing, pin or ribbon so you can tie or pin to a purse, window, or just to showcase in a basket like I have.
This one I have displayed on a large paper mache egg.
The sweet bunny bag is from this RoxyCreations, all handmade patchwork. Its adorable! This vignette and the one below is a peek of my foyer--finally found a bookcase the perfect depth. Spring vignette.
Lastly, a little spring item I put together --really close to my heart right now. I believe it was a decorative crown bowl which I embellished with bling and happy flowers, a paper Spring tag with a wallpaper butterfly. My favorite vintage shredded papers and a little seam binding bow.

I love all the beautiful things you make and I'm now a follower. I',, be back often to see your new creations. Smiles, Carol Mae
ReplyDeleteKristin, I hope you're feeling better. I'm thinking twice about my job too. The thought of my salary based on grant money stresses me out so much.
ReplyDeleteYour creations are simply gorgeous as always!
BTW the hubby and I heading down to SC on Thursday for a week of fun in the sun. Our first stops on the way down are going to Cowpens, Kings Mountain and Ninety-Six. Were big National Park supporters. Have a great day!
Hugs,
Kelly
Hi Kris! Thank you so much for your sweet comments at Heaven's Walk! I sure hope that you'll be able to grow peonies down in the beautiful south! They are my fav flower in the garden, and the fragrance is intoxicating!
